Thursday.  Homework.  Brenna writing those spelling words 3 times each.  Not her most favorite thing to do!!  We work on them during the week, we also study spelling Friday morning at breakfast and then on our walk to school (before the test that day!)  It is always a happy day when she comes home Friday afternoon and announces, "I GOT 100% !!"  YAY!!!

Wednesday.  Wyatt made this handy toolbox at scouts tonight.  Cool huh?  He is very proud.  He wants to paint it black.  We are thankful for good scout leaders!

Tuesday.  Bryant cracks me up.  This boy is getting very independent.  He never wants help in the bathroom, which is great, except that more often than not he comes out with his underpants backward or sticking out of his pants (like so), or many times the jeans could be put on backwards.  He always is grinning from ear to ear, very proud of his accomplishment!!  Good job Bryant!!

Monday.  For FHE activity, Wyatt came up with this fun scavenger hunt.  We raced all around the house looking for clues.  The first clue being from the voice recorder which makes you sound really silly (the yada yada).  We were then upstairs, downstairs, in the panrty, under the lamp shade, in the popcorn popper...  This was so fun!  Thanks Wyatt!  You are such a creative mind!!

Still sick.  Vince still in Ohio.

Saturday.  This was the day I knew was coming... I got sick.  After a few sick kids this week, and Vince sick yesterday, I knew I was in for it.  Vince left early this morning to go to Cleveland Ohio for his Grandma Murray's funeral.  He felt terrible leaving us sick people at home, but it was so good for him to be with his extended family.

Friday.  An awards ceremony at school for the older kids.  The kids in Preston's class each read a poem they wrote before getting their award.  Mr. Dwyer and Mr. Q really know how to make it fun for their kids!!  Way to go Preston!!
