This is what we have been up to!

I have a major farmers tan from working in the yard!!  Many "Powerades" were consumed.  Vince and I have sore muscles and tired bodies.  We have worked in the early morning hours, the hot, middle of the day hours, and late into the night (with the help of work lights).  Vince has gone with little or NO sleep.  Wonderful people have helped us, and we have borrowed almost every tool used on this project from our great and handy neighbors! 
We still have some work ahead, but here is a little preview!

TA-DA!!

A few things... from this past week.

While Brenna was at school, Bryant found her birthday crown and Strawberry Shortcake dolls and played and played!  He was thrilled that he could do whatever he wanted and Brenna would not snatch it away.  He was in HEAVEN!!

Brenna was SO excited to write Grandma a letter.  She wrote it at school and came home ready to address it and bring it to the mailbox.  Sweet girl!  She was so happy to be SO big!

This picture cracks me up!!  Bryant, SO serious about his "game" (even though he is not really playing).  Preston, sharing his chair and encouraging Bryant.  Brothers... so sweet!

Bryant loves his "shows".  I just love this face...  such concentration!

Preston had a great time with his football season.  They did not win a single game, but you wouldn't know it to talk to him.  He loved every minute!

We had a busy and happy week.  Life is good!!

Roller Girl

Brenna wanted more than anything to go to Skate Country for her birthday... that and then of course,  "Panda Express" for dinner.  We had a great time!  We went with the Depillos and skated the afternoon away.  Brenna is not very confident in her skating, so she insisted that Vince stay with her in the rink!  We snacked on popcorn and soda.  Aunt Renee and Madie met us there for a little while and gave Brenna a beautiful necklace for her birthday.   Everyone in our family loves to skate, so it was a very fun afternoon!

Brenna turns 6!

Today my girl turned one year older!  SIX... (funny to hear her say with her two front teeth missing!) 

We had a busy birthday.  Cupcakes at school with friends,  dance class after school,  birthday dinner and then neighbors over for presents and cake.  It was a great day!

March Birthday Celebration

We have so many March birthdays in our family!!  It has become a tradition to celebrate at the park.  We fly kites, eat good food and just enjoy the beautiful weather together as a family.  Happy birthday Brenna, Ashlyn, Westen and Papa!!

Riley was at the bottom of the dog pile today!  What a good sport! 

What a great time we had! The park Nana and Papa found was a treasure, the day was perfect and my birthday girl was as happy as could be! 

Pulte Festival

Our home builder put on a festival at our community park.  We thought we should go check it out and OH, the fun we had!  Riley was working at the food booth with his 8th grade class (earning money for their upcoming 8th grade trip).  While he was busy with that and Vince played in a "mush ball" game (with some neighbors and school teachers), the kids and I toured around the game section.  It was so fun to see our friends and play and play! 

Preston loved this boxing game!  Those gloves are nearly as big as he is!!

We left straight from the festival to meet up with the Heflins in Mesa for our March Birthday Party!  I don't think our Saturday could have packed in one more thing!! 

A day at the park.

I took Brenna and Bryant to the Marana Park while Preston and Wyatt were at cub scouts.  The park is just down the road from the church, and it has so many fun slides and play places.  They were in heaven!  "Watch me mom!",  "Look over here mom!",  "This is the best day ever!"   --- and it was!!  :)
