Hi Elder Heflin!
How is it going? Hope you have had a good week. What are your highs and lows from the week? Tell me a story. :) Did you get our package?
We had a good week. We continue to work in the yard bit by bit. Our garden is taking off and our apple tree is exploding with apples. The birds are eyeing our peaches on the peach tree. They are small but looking good. :)
I had a primary mtg this week. I'm so happy to work with the sisters in my presidency. They are dependable and have testimonies of our Savior Jesus Christ. Primary is a fun place to be. :)

I went on the 5th grade field trip to the U of A Flandrau Science Center with Brenna on Friday. It was fun... and loud on the bus. Haha.
Saturday (baseball) was a weird day. The weather was so crazy! So unexpected, but it rained! It was supposed to be (97 degrees) the hottest day of the year so far and it was hot. At first. Then a dark cloud came out of nowhere and the wind blew and a huge dust storm hit and then it rained. It turned out to be a beautiful evening and a great night of games, but just weird.
Today was stake conference. The theme was gratitude and optimism. It was really good. Several good talks! All good council. Some of my favorites...

Bryant sat next to me and set the timer on my phone for 2 hours and then would look at it periodically to see how much time was left. He is a hoot.
Can't wait to hear from you on Mother's Day! What is the plan for that? Can we skype?
Love you so much! Work hard!!!
Love, mom
Nana and Papa came over for FHE to teach us a little about our family history. It was fun to hear some stories and see our family tree.
Nana then showed us some old pictures she has of us. This is one of her favorites of Bryant. Yep,he looks the same :)
It has been quite a week of homework for Brenna. The whole family has assisted on "calculating volume for irregular shapes". Kinda fun once you get the hang of it ;)
Uno fun :)

Bryant up to bat for the A's.
Weird weather during our games Saturday. It was supposed to be hot and 97 degrees all day. But it was hot and then we had a dust storm and then rain and then hot and then more rain. It was an odd day. But we got a double rainbow and an amazing sunset out of it at least. ;)
Brenna pitching.
Wyatt pitching.
