Mother's Day - May 10, 2015

I am a lucky mom! I had a wonderful day being spoiled by Vince and my kiddos!

And what a treat it was to see Riley's face! We were able to talk for a few hours!!  He and his companion skyped from a member's home and after awhile we hung up and he called us back from their ward building where they do their digital mission work.

Among other things, we talked about ...

His shoes.
His new Mission President coming in July, President Miller.
The dentist and how he might get in for a check up since his companion has to go in a lot lately for a root canal.
Their church buildings.  They have an attic and a 2 level parking garage.  So different.
Star Wars
He's learning "A Child's Prayer" on the guitar.
The USS Constitution and the Bunker Hill Monument.
How expensive it is to live in Cambridge compared to Waterbury.  (He gets $180 a month)
Great Chinese and Thai food!! (Best pizza was in Waterbury)
How he loves Shake Shack and thinks of the Gibsons whenever he goes.  (And it's pretty cheap compared to other places to eat out)
Driving conditions in the winter and the impatient and angry New England drivers.
Major zone changes coming up.
The Digital Mission!

Riley and Elder Lee seem to have a good time :)
