These are just a couple shots I got at the end of the evening on our sign up days.  I wish I had thought to capture a picture of the field while it was a buzz from so many kids excited to play soccer!!  Darn.  It was forecast to rain both days and even though it rained before and after, we lucked out and had some great weather from 5-7pm.  In all, we signed up 143 kids to play soccer this year.  16 teams for 4 age groups.

A few of us tend to stay until the last drop of daylight :)

Man that storm sure dumped a whole lot of rain on us in a hurry!  Look at that wash RUN!  Then take note on how sunny it is right after!!  I wish the rain would linger a little longer! :)

Seriously, how does this happen?  On a random day, without planning, Brenna and Caity wore the very same thing to school!  haha!!  cute girls!

8/15/14  It was a hot one today and a hop in the pool was required after school :)

This week Preston found out that he made the Varsity Cross Country team as a freshman!  I am incredibly impressed and proud of my boy!  The last 2 weeks he has told me about his practices and the 6 mile run that "wasn't very hard" and how he came in 3rd behind two seniors in the timed run they did.  His determined personality seems to be a great fit for distance running!!  I think he has found his niche! :)
