August 24-30, 2014

Sunday (Aug. 24), I got a text from Mom and Dad, that said they were on the way back from Susie's (Texas).  We are always excited for a visit from Grandma and Grandpa!  They got to our house Sunday evening about 9 pm, just after we pulled in from a Stake Fireside.  We enjoyed visiting over some pumpkin pie.  We are getting excited for them and their new adventure, serving a mission in Chile!

Monday, mom and dad accompanied Vince and I as we went into town to order soccer uniforms.  They were happy to come along since our favorite Mexican Restaurant, Little Mexico, is nearby the uniform store.  Yum!

The weather has been windy and stormy, with plenty of dust devils.  Just rain.  Please.

The weather turned very dark toward town, but the sun was shining from the other direction.  We thought it looked pretty neat!

Tuesday morning, mom and dad helped get the kids off to school and then they headed home.  They have lots to do in preparation for their mission.  We are proud and so happy for them to serve!

Finishing the uniform order.  busy time... not enough time in the day.

Cute Brenna.  She wants wavy hair for picture day.  Sock curls will do the trick :)

Picture day.  By far my favorite day to be a helper at school!!  I love to see the kids looking their best, or helping the kiddos who forgot that it was picture day...  haha.   I spy my Bryant in the front row :)
